Jerry Rocha is the Vice President of Digital Media for The Nielsen Company where he works with the large media companies to maximize the value of their digital assets. He is a recognized expert in the area of digital media products to the consumer as well as their multiplatform habits. He has worked within Nielsen to develop a detailed knowledge of the media habits of the US Hispanic, multicultural and general consumer markets. These include online and mobile video, mobile applications, and device usage and content consumption.
Having spent many years in the mobile industry specifically focused on mobile entertainment has given him insight into how content is distributed and consumed. This allows Mr. Rocha to bring a unique mix of technical expertise, leadership, and operational experience that comes from being on several different sides of the media business and how the next big disrupters will continue to changes models in the media space.
Mr. Rocha is a US Navy Submarine Veteran and graduate of North Carolina State University where he earned a B.S. in Environmental Science.
